What a wonderful place and pet friendly too. Mrs Gayle was such a pleasure to meet along with her fur baby Red! I called kinda short notice to book 2 cabins, which were just great. It was a short vacation plus our 35 wedding anniversary! Our 2 furbabies Maggie n Rudy had a good time also. We will definitely call and book again. Thank you Mrs Gayle! From Tabitha in Louisiana.
This is my new Go-To place to stay when I'm in Matagorda. There are so many reasons why I liked staying in the Cabins: * Clean and comfortable * Nice mix of being super close to everything in Matagorda, but far enough away from HWY 60 so the night was SUPER QUIET. * Coffee maker and coffee packets in the room....Nice!!! * Went fishing before going to cabin; no issues with late arrival. * Competitive Prices * Friendly owner; reservation was SUPER EASY to setup.
The cabins were very cute and clean, it was just a one-room cabin with a refrigerator and three beds in the bathroom and shower. However I found the beds to be terribly miserable they were hard and sagging at the same time. There was plenty of parking and they were conveniently located
2nd time at Gayles place. She is a fantastic host. Cabin is clean and so cute. Super comfy bed (king) Sheets are nice n comfortable which is huge to me. She thinks of everything Like being at home away from home
We stayed in Cabin #2 last week and loved it. The cabin was small but perfect for what we needed. VERY clean and owner was extremely easy to work with. Owner provided clean linens, towels and even shampoos, soap and coffee. We will definitely book again and pass the word. I recommend updating photos because they don't do it justice :)
Really cute place! Girls vacations ask for the flamingo room super cute for a weekend getaway. She has other rooms as well but that ones my favorite. I also work shut downs and it’s close to the plant (STP). Like A 10 minute drive. Lots of space to park a boat and the owner is very nice! Will for sure stay here next time I’m down.
We stayed here last night, January 8, 2019, and it was great!! Perfect location the owner is very sweet and accommodating the rooms were clean and comfortable. The price was very fair. Would definitely stay again!
